Your RGNEA Negotiation team met with the district's negotiating team on Monday, July 30. Items discussed at the first session included setting of the ground rules that will be used during negotiations, sharing of names for the teacher and administration negotiating teams and the presentation of teacher issues. These issues were generated from you, the members voicing your concerns. There were no administration issues shared. Things are moving forward. A schedule of the negotiation sessions is availabe in the Important Dates section of the website. All members are encouraged to attend the negotiation sessions. You won't be able to participate, but your presence sends the message that we are standing together and intend to take this district where it needs to go. We will be posting information here to keep you informed of our progress.
